If personal information is to be used for other purposes, we will notify the intended purpose in advance and obtain consent.

2. Use of Personal Information and Provision to Third Parties

Except for the following cases, Kinshukai will not use or provide personal information beyond its original intended purposes:

When the patient or user has given consent

When the information is processed into a state where the individual cannot be identified

When required by law

Unless required by law, Kinshukai will not provide information to third parties without the patient’s or user’s consent.

(Note: “Processed so that an individual cannot be identified” means not just deleting a person’s name but ensuring that the person cannot be identified under legal standards.)

3. Proper Management of Personal Information

Kinshukai Medical Corporation strives to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information, and to ensure its safe and proper management. Other detailed rules regarding personal information protection are stipulated in the “Personal Information Protection Regulations.”

4. Confirmation and Correction of Personal Information (Disclosure, etc.)

When patients or users request disclosure of their personal information, Kinshukai promptly confirms and responds according to the separately established “Personal Information Protection Regulations.” If a correction is requested due to inaccuracy, we investigate and address it appropriately.

Purpose and Scope of Personal Information Collection and Use at Kinshukai Medical Corporation

Kinshukai Medical Corporation pays the utmost attention to the handling of patients’ and users’ personal information. The purposes and scope of use of the collected personal information are as follows:

Provision of Medical and Nursing Services

・Medical and nursing services provided by hospitals and nursing facilities to patients and users
・Collaboration with other hospitals, facilities, clinics, midwifery centers, pharmacies, home nursing stations, and care service providers

Anonymized Processed Information and Provision to Third Parties

“Anonymized processed information” means data processed so that individuals cannot be identified and the information cannot be restored.
Kinshukai handles such information in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related guidelines, prioritizing the protection of patients’ and users’ privacy.

1. Creation of Anonymized Processed Information

At Kinshukai facilities, medical image data such as X-rays and MRIs are anonymized in compliance with legal standards, ensuring that individuals cannot be identified or the data restored.

・Before anonymization: patient ID, name, date of birth, test items, test date, medical images
・After anonymization: patient ID, name, date of birth deleted; test items, test date, medical images retained

2. Provision to Third Parties

Anonymized medical image data may be continuously provided to third parties for collection and analysis to improve medical quality, with clear labeling as anonymized data.

・Information provided: test items, test date, medical images
・Provision method: encrypted and uploaded to a secure cloud service managed under strict standards

3. Security Management

Access to anonymized information is restricted to authorized personnel.

Joint Use of Personal Information

To provide timely and accurate medical and nursing care services:

Address, name, age, date of birth, phone number, diagnosis, medical history, family information, prescription history, medical history, test history, and other necessary information.

2. Scope:

Kinshukai group and entrusted affiliated companies handling personal information

3. Purpose:

As stipulated in the “Personal Information Protection Regulations”

4. Responsible party:
